A great day out for all the family

The Urchfont Scarecrow Festival has been running since the 1990s and attracts thousands of visitors every year.

Here are some of the reasons why:

THERE'S LOTS TO DO AND SEE

Embark on the scarecrow trail through the charming Urchfont village as you unravel clues. Little ones can join in the fun with a Children's Quiz featuring picture clues to decode at each scarecrow spot.

A FUN, LIVELY ATMOSPHERE

Enjoy mouthwatering, locally crafted burgers and sausages, indulge in delectable homemade cakes and a refreshing cup of tea, or satisfy your thirst with locally brewed real ales and ciders at the village pond.

IT'S COMMUNITY RUN

The Festival committee and the Urchfont Parish community work together to create scarecrows, bake cakes, oversee parking, cook on the barbecue, serve drinks, and more.

IT SUPPORTS LOCAL CAUSES.

All profits generated are dedicated to supporting good causes in the Parish of Urchfont, and a substantial annual contribution is also made to Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
