ABOUT THE CHARITY
The Urchfont Scarecrow Festival is run by a small committee who start the planning in September of the previous year. The whole community comes together to make Scarecrows, bake cakes, organise rotas, manage parking, clean up and so much more - raising funds to support local groups and organisations.

WILTSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE
Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a lifesaving charity providing an emergency service to the people of Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas.
The Festival Charity makes a four-figure donation to this amazing charity every year.

DEVIZES OPENDOORS
Devizes Opendoors provide four cooked meals per week for homeless people and those at risk of becoming homeless; signposting to various agencies that can help with issues such as drug dependence, mental illness and rent arrears; and deliver a befriending service for one-to-one support.
Urchfont Scarecrow Festival Charity has pledged to support Opendoors in 2024.
